Conference Location:

The conference will be held at the hotel “Le Nautile”, located along the beach of the “Ermitage” lagoon near the city of Saint Gilles. http://www.hotel-nautile.com

Recommended hotels:

Conference special rates will be available for all the TI2012 participants at the hotel “Le Nautile” and at the Hotel Novotel.  The two hotels are distant from 1.9km.

Hotel ”Le Nautile”:

The hotel is nested in the heart of the quietest and residential part of “la Saline les Bains” village.It’s privileged beachfront location at the edge of the lagoon, and it’s typical Creole atmosphere, make this place a Must of first class charm hotels in Reunion Island. All of the 43 rooms and suites are fully equipped high standard rooms. The Library offers tourist guides about Reunion Nature, People, history, and it’s sister islands, that you can enjoy comfortably seated in the Hotel lounge.

Hotel Novotel:

Just a short walk from Ermitage lagoon, one of the island's most beautiful beach resorts, the Novotel Saint Gilles is a lush paradise for families. An ideal base from which to explore the island, the hotel has everything you need to enjoy the magic of Reunion. Natural beach on the lagoon, two outdoor pools with separate children's area, two hard tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, aquarobics, snorkeling/accompanied diving, pool games and petanque.

Important:

The reservations must be done before the middle of April to ensure the availability of the rooms.

Access

When leaving the Roland Garros airport in Saint-Denis, follow signs for “toutes directions” (all directions), then Saint-Denis centre; drive through Saint-Denis (coastal road). When you leave Saint-Denis, carry straight on (toward Possession, le Port) for 25 miles (40 km). After Saint-Paul the coastal road joins the freeway. Take the Ermitage, Saline les Bains exit, then head toward Ermitage and Jardin d'Eden. The road leads downhill toward the ocean. Continue straight on at two roundabouts.

Shuttles and local transportation

Arrival and Departure : A shuttle will pick you up at the airport at your arrival. Please contact the hotel mention that you want to use this shuttle http://www.hotel-nautile.com/contact. The price is 25 € for a one way run. The same option is, of course, available for the departure.

Day time: Shuttles will run between the 2 hotels every morning and every evening before and after the conference.

Evenings: After the conference a free shuttle will run to downtown Saint-Gilles before 8 PM.

Night time: Most of the public areas (restaurants, cinemas, bars, etc) offer at any time to their customers an almost free shuttle (2 euros) which will pick them up downtown and drive them back to their hotel.
